Verified Reviewer New ReviewerAfter paying for a 6 month subscription, 2 months later I wondered why I didn’t receive any contacts for dating. I finally got an email saying they’d disabled my acct
This member of our Christian dating site, ChristianCafe.com, has written to us over 20 times (literally; we have the emails) and we've spoken with her by phone. Despite these many attempts, we haven't been able to impress upon her what information our system is sending to her, and why.
What she's complaining about: - There aren't very many men aged 80+ who live near her. Unfortunately, this isn't something we control. - When men who are interested in her write, if she doesn't like them she complains that we're sending her matches she doesn't want. Again, this isn't something we control.
On ChristianCafe.com we permit members to write to those who interest them and we believe our members are best at determining compatibility. - She creates searches and our system shows her matches based on her criteria. For some reason, she doesn't actually want men who fit the criteria she chooses, so she complains that our system isn't sending her what she wants. Yet our system is showing her men who fit *exactly* the criteria she has chosen.
- Despite our many, many attempts to explain how the site works, she refused to listen but continued to complain each time our system emailed a match for her if she didn't like him. We eventually disabled mailings to her, though this didn't impact her profile in any way, nor did it impact her matches; it just ensured she wouldn't receive a mailing from us which she didn't understand. - She wrote a while later, complaining that she wasn't receiving any mailings from us. When we explained that we had disabled the mailings, she concluded we had 'disabled her account' (even though she was still using it).
This was also despite our attempts to emphasize that her account was unaffected; only our mailings to her were disabled. We work hard to assist our members as needed so they can use our dating service effectively and address any questions they have. We have many awards for "best customer service", e.g. Newsweek Magazine has ranked us #1 or #2 in customer service for online dating for the past 4 years in a row.
These awards and overwhelmingly positive feedback our staff has received from happy members of our Christian dating site are proof that we treat our members well. We're especially proud that over 25,000 marriages(!) and countless connections have resulted from our dating service!
